The Ruby on Rails Bootcamp
On average, students take 4 months to complete this course.
This course is enormous—109 lectures in total! We begin with the fundamentals of the Ruby language (Data Types, Variables, Methods, Collections, Operators, Control Flow, Loops, Iterators, OOP, Blocks, Procs, and Lambdas). Then, we jump into three large projects: We build a CLI-based Tic-Tac-Toe game and then use Rails to build two web applications: a to-do list app and a Photo-Sharing website.
Prerequisites & Requirements
This course has a few prerequisites (listed below). If you do not meet these requirements, we will not stop you from enrolling, but you may not be able to follow along with the material or get the most out of the course.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
A full-size laptop or desktop.
Admin/root privileges on your workstation.
An internet connection that is fast enough to stream high-res videos.
